I'm pleased to announce the already 13th edition of the Dutch nightrally Nacht van het Oosten, maybe better known as the Dutch Chinese rally! This year Rutger has named the rally "50 shades of Darkness" so I recon it will be another hot edition! 1969 2.5 PI (Now 2.5PIE, running on EFI ) 1971 GT6 mk3 (still going strong)
2007 Volvo V70 2.5T (After many years, again owner of a Swedish Turbo Brick) 2001 Audi A2 (replacement of the old Mini Cooper, and the total opposite. Will never ever rust but not exciting to drive) Survivor of 10CR05, LCC06, RBRR06, 10CR07, LCC09, 10CR11' 10CR13, RBRR14, 10CR17, 10CR19 (well sort off) and many many Dutch nightrallies. |

Quoted from Jonny-Jimbo Anything goes but to keep in the spirit of the event an older car is prefered. Originally this was open to CTH (and CT) members, it now is open to anyone really. There are some that turn up in Hillman Imps, some in 911s, some in Ford Escorts and even FIATs and TVRs. Just make sure you have good lights. Both outside and inside - to read the route. And no, the locals generally don't bite. Julian Triumph Stag, Man. OD, RHD, somewhat modified. |
