Hi, not trying to hijack your thread Nick, but interested in the picture from Bean's as to were that neat looking Throttle Linkage on the Webbers came from as I might have to do the same on mine when I convert it. Thanks.

Haven't put them alongside each other for comparison yet, but this is the part that you are looking for in it's original guise ...



As you can see it's different from the TR7 pipe. But in case it doesn't fit it shouldn't be to difficult to fabricate something that fits.

But if you want to improve the car's soundtrack (and have some spare cash) you can always go for this set up, no pipes needed, just a hose to connect the waterpump to the heater

Weber throttle linkage originates from Webcon.
