Am just working on wiring in an electric fuel pump - any thoughts as to where to put the wire throu to the pump.  I was planning on running a new power supply wire from the front of the car inside with the main loom.  Will connect it to a "live with ignition on" position via a cut out switch under the bonnet.

Hi Steve,
That is where the hand brake cable bracket attached and also is a mount for twin pipes?
This is where I have fed the wire through for my pump

Thanks very useful I will go out after my cuppa and get on with it!

Where is your filter?  I have got a prefilter screwed into my pump.

Also interested to see the foam sheet on the bulkhead.  I had assumed it was an aftermarket bodge as it covers up what look like brackets for what I thought was fastening the carpet.

The filter is next to the bulkhead, you should be able to make it out in the picture Steve

That's the mounting point for the (TR8 ) silencer system.
And used for hand brake cable bracket and injection pump mount (on FI cars)

As for the wiring,
I fitted an extra feed wire into the harness for the fuel tank sender.
Rather convenient as my pump sits pretty close to the sender ...
