I have been working on the car on and off for last 3 years (other projects got in the way) and it has to be worked on the drive so the weather can be a problem |

Thats a different install, why put a rover in for similar power when its a more straight forwards install? nice one tho.. is it all up and running? |

There seems to be a trend of using Vauxhall powerplants and not just the "red top" engines. There's a Toledo with a GM Family II engine (remember them? Most 80s Vauxhalls had them in various capacities) that came out of a Carlton and an Omega gearbox. Toledo Man Former stable of 5 Acclaims, 1 Toledo, 2 1500fwd, 1 1300fwd, 1 Dolomite 1300 & 1 Dolomite Sprint (that's just the Triumphs!) |

Yes your options are quite limited now with most modern cars being front wheel drive apart from BMW |

The Toyota system works on the same principles as the Triumph just a bit more refined using modern electronics so adapting it is pretty strait forward |
