New fuel pumps have been a right pain for me up to 2 years ago. Either too much pressure or not enough. when I fitted an electric pump all my troubles disappeared and I could tune it correctly. Hi Theo, hope you don't mind me asking an off-topic question: I see you're running a Bosch Blue coil. I'm likely going to be trying one this weekend. Any thoughts on the reported varying quality of Mexican, Spanish and NOS German units? Also, I've not seen a rubber coil cap like that before, was that a standard part on TR7s or have you sourced it since? Cheers! 1967 GT6 mk1, Wedgewood. 1998cc. Back on the road!

I always buy them from reputable suppliers. And if they pass their (Bosch) quality control, that's fine for me! The cover for the coil came with the Magnecore leads for my TR7 DHC. ![]() 1976 TR7 FHC (currently undergoing some TLC ...) 1980 TR7 DHC (a.k.a.
