I think the Victory edition stripes look great on a brightly coloured car, like this one...... 1972 IV 1500 Spitfire "Meatball" 4 sweaty 10CR's 2009, 2011, 2013 & 2015 Co-pilot with Geordie Steve's Tiggrr1 GT6 2010 + 2012 International AutoEcosse with Geordie Steve's Tiggrr1 GT6 The Raider's Triumph 2012 Co-pilot with Geordie Steve's Tiggrr1 GT6 2014 winners 'Best Club' Southport 'Woodvale Rally' A must for all Spitfire fans.... ![]() https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PpepDRqcFCo |

I don't like the chequered flags but the black roof helps the bumpers blend into the car. Makes it a more cohesive design, if that makes sense. 1964 Triumph 2000 - sleeping 1968 Triumph Herald 13/60 - fully standard and about 230bhp... daily driver 1981 Triumph Acclaim - daily driver by my finger and thumb

Quoted from ferny That's probably one of the reasons they made the sills black. And they make the whole car look more slender. The yellow car looks to fat i.m.h.o. because of the body colour sills. But I'll stick to an orange roof ... ![]() 1976 TR7 FHC (currently undergoing some TLC ...) 1980 TR7 DHC (a.k.a. Kermette, my first car bought in 1988 ) 1981 TR7 FHC (Sprint engined, a.k.a.
