I'm in the process of getting my sprint engined 7 back on the road. Who would people recommend for setting the carbs and ignition up? Nothing fancy just a basic tune up. Would a rolling road session be worth it?
Bear in mind I'm based in Northumberland, but will travel.

When you have a standard spec Sprint engine,
you could try to start with the factory settings for the TR7 Sprint;
• BDQ needles for the SU's;
• Ignition set at 10° BTDC.
But it will be difficult to fine tune because breathing will be different.

Thanks for that, I'm guessing tne needles should be ok as it was running  ok. Just what it fine tuned to get the best out of it

Taking the car down to S & S in early March, so hopefully it should be running lovely when I get it back. To be honest it drives not to bad now, but every now and again it hesitates slightly.

Collected the car from S & S on saturday morning, got home then used it on the Hexham Historic that night. It's running perfectly and a lot smoother and better than it ever has all the time I've had it. Yes all the bits and pieces Steve did I could have managed to do, but it was much easier just to get it sorted.
