Quoted from Benzo I will guess at the 3.5 engine first. If the 3.5 V8 gave around 130bhp when new (ish) then our very worn unit was lucky if it gave out 100bhp. If the car weighed in around 1200+kg plus two people weighing approx. 90+kg each, then with fuel on-board the total mass will have been around 1.4 tons. I would estimate it made around 70bhp per ton. No wonder an old MG Metro could out pace us! |

Quoted from stevieb Standard Body Panels - Bonnet - 13.75kg Boot - 10.6kg Wing - 5kg Front Panel - 6.3kg Fibreglass panels - Complete Bonnet - 5kg (8.75kg saving) Complete Boot - 5kg - (5.6kg saving) Wing - 4kg (1kg Saving ) Front Panel - 3.26 (3kg Saving) Its hard to know if it is worth putting a pair of ill fitting wings to save 1kg each side. |

Quoted from stevieb Can only agree there, indeed one of the best single changes I made to my FHC. Looks nice with the narrow rear wheelarch extensions.
