Hi all,

Just seen an amazing advertised TR5 for only £14,000 ; http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Triumph-TR5-/252182326164?hash=item3ab73ceb94:g:gYkAAOSwgyxWUxWe

I rang the guy up, he sounded fairly genuine etc... Except I don't believe he is, as on Car and Classic is the EXACT SAME ADVERT for the same TR5, but for £34,000. http://www.carandclassic.co.uk/car/C674546#

I believe the Scotland advert to be fraudulent as the price is too good to be true, and he wants cleared funds before collection etc.

PLEASE BE CAREFUL!!

I can't see how it can be true, I will be putting my TR5 on the market real soon; it is a full restoration and my starting price will be nearer £18000 than £14000.

One of the attached pictures in the Ebay advert showed the sun shining. Yet it is supposedly in Scotland.

Sun in Scotland - ridiculous. Of course ot is a scam.

A similar discussion on the TR-Register site about this car, it was advertised previously on the Car & Classic site for £34K, I remember seeing it?

Remember the saying, if it's to good to be true it's probably not true, i.e.. Fraud?!!

Hopefully you have all reported it as a fraudukent listing with Ebay??

It takes a number of reports fro them to act.
