Anybody know how I move the bonnet, down on the right I think, and or point me at the instructions? Behind the overriders you'll find slotted metal mountings or clamps; you can loosen the bolts and move these about, upwards or downwards, backwards or forwards, to get a better fit. As long as your bonnet or chassis hasn't been accident damaged it's probably just shifted with time. You'll probably need to slacken off the long adjuster rods too; these go to the bottom of the metal clamps. Bear in mind that it's not as simple as it sounds; for every move in one direction some other area will move in a different direction so it can take a bit of time and careful adjustment to get all the gaps correct; even when you think it's all correct, the first time you open the bonnet and close it again, you may find that things have moved about yet again. Somewhere amongst all of these mega signatures, there might even be a post. |
