The visit to see Jenny plan.

I have emailed her and this is the outline plan - So on Saturday October 8th we will leave the Old Stone Trough at say 1.30.

That means we should arrive with Jenny about 2.30 to 2.45.

Not sure of numbers yet, probably 12 people.

Afternoon tea sounds very civilised maybe?

Some of us will be leaving at 5PM as we are going to the club's major event of the year where 140 cars are stopping off at Tebay services (I will be marshalling there along with Paul).

It's possible one or two may stay over

I confirm that the next meeting will go ahead as usual this Friday 7th.

There will be less people attending as no doubt some will be at the RBRR control point at Blyth.

As regards going to see Jenny on the Saturday I have received no reply from her or anyone else (other than Ian Harling who can't make it).

I aim to ring Jenny today as part of my RBRR planning for next weekend so there may be further news later - possibly including formal cancellation of a run out to Southport

I'm planning on attending the next P&P meeting. Once again, I'll be in the modern because the Dolly has no MoT.

Made the mistake of thinking half-term week would be quiet and steady. Forgot that this is the last weekend of the illuminations. Looks like I'm going to be working 4pm to midnight on Friday. Have a good evening and (hopefully) I'll see you all in December.

Does anyone who might be at the December meeting have a spring compressor suitable for changing the front springs on a Spitfire that they'd be willing to lend me?
(I have the usual "normal" compressors, but I'd rather use the correct tool for the job if I can!)

We have the normal compressors, for the odd job but as we have adjustable ride height AVO`s then we don`t need compressors....so I suppose ...NO is the answer
