:) I have booked a Xmas meal for 10 people at the next "meeting" on December 5th.

The magnificent 10 include my wife and I (pretentious -moi?) and Barry and Caroline.

The menu is attached.  Cost is £12.95 a head and includes coffee afterwards. Not sure about the disco though!

If anyone else wants to come along please let me know asap ;)

Sounds good, minus the DJ but at least he's somewhere else in the building! Normal meeting time? Do we get crackers and hats and silly jokes?

:) Yes, normal time - sort of 7.30 for 8.

Crackers etc - haven't checked but I would be surprised if not. Then again, I am often surprised by events anyway ! ::)

I know that there are 6 people staying overnight so maybe Mrs Raider and I will use a taxi so we can enjoy the evening fully.

Let me know if anyone else fancies coming along - meal is at 8PM but we will be there earlier. ;)

It was good to meet most of you for the first time. I didn't put many names to faces but there's always the next meeting. I enjoyed the dinner. I wasn't going to have the meal but hey, Christmas is only once a year. I know some people get worried about meeting people they've only know through the Internet for the first time but my experiences with my UB40 friends (I did mention one of my "other" interests to a few of you) has stood me in good stead.

I have to say that Kelbrook, Lancashire is not qite the same as Nice either ;D


You should be careful what you say anyway, there are parts 2 and 3 of the 10CR epic to come yet in Club Torque and who knows what I may say! ;D ;D
