Over recent weeks I have heard that, West/North/South Yorkshire now no longer have representation ,due to the lack of CT members attending area meetings PUBLIC RELATIONS and ADVERTISING OFFICER

Have you only just found out Mike? I quit as West & North Yorkshire AOs a few years ago! I didn't know Victor had thrown the towel in as well for South Yorkshire. Toledo Man Former stable of 5 Acclaims, 1 Toledo, 2 1500fwd, 1 1300fwd, 1 Dolomite 1300 & 1 Dolomite Sprint (that's just the Triumphs!) |

Shame as Yorkshire is one of my favorite places in all of England. The best PUB in all the land is in Meltham. (Wagon & Horses on Huttersfield Rd) Stop in and tell them you know me. They might charge you extra, but be nice to the dog and they will let you stay. Met Mike & Pam (owners) on my first trip over along with some of the regulars like Steve. The pub host's a very nice parade of military vehicles every year. Town has a web site with listing. However their is a nice house for sale only 3 blocks form the Pub. It has and 2 car attached garage and 2nd, 4 car garage! Little on the high price side for me, only 695,000 pounds! I think I could live their. Went in ...saw the dog,asked what he thought of you , the dog answered,.... Rough! :B PUBLIC RELATIONS and ADVERTISING OFFICER

I visit Meltham every chance I get. I have friends their who are not part of Club Triumph. I should be their on or about September 18th this year. I have even thought of buying a house their. However the house I want is way tooooooo high- 690,000 pounds, that's over a million dollars to me but, is a nice house with garage space for 6 cars, and short walk to my favorite pub! Colin Radford (CRAJ) runs a very succesfull Triumph meeting in South Yorkshire, its near Doncaster and they meet up twice a month. Its a 2000/2500/2.5 Register based meeting but I know other Triumph members attend, perhaps this could be a CT one too? Alan Chatterton |

We meet at the Crown in Barnburgh(DN5 7JQ), 1st and 3rd tuesday of the month from about half 7 although we usually eat there before hand. |
