You'll find a lot of people who go to areas don't use this site. It makes up a tiny portion of the club. Your best bet is to contact the local Area Organiser and talk to them. 1964 Triumph 2000 - sleeping 1968 Triumph Herald 13/60 - fully standard and about 230bhp... daily driver 1981 Triumph Acclaim - daily driver by my finger and thumb

Quoted from Jony5 Yeah sorry you have to put up with me now. ![]() If the e-mails aren't of use to you let me know as I can take you out of the group e-mail. It just seems the best set up for me as I always get a good response at meets / events following the e-mails and its the quickest way to confirm details to everyone as I have a fairly widespread area to cover. I would have thought there would have been more information on the local groups such as the number of members in the group etc. |

Is anyone going to mind me giving a meeting a try if i'm not a club member, it would be the West berks meet. The main thing stopping me going to a meet is that i'm at uni so can only make ones in holidays, i tried the local tssc club as its 4mins down the road and no offence intended but there all a fair bit older than me and dont seem to bother doing anything with there cars which is a real shame! |

There shouldn't be a problem with you turning up. At my area I would welcome anyone even if they didn't have a Triumph. They just have to be interesting and be half-decent people. I know the people in my area feel the same and can only say that any area without that view would be an area I wouldn't attend. 1964 Triumph 2000 - sleeping 1968 Triumph Herald 13/60 - fully standard and about 230bhp... daily driver 1981 Triumph Acclaim - daily driver by my finger and thumb

My brother and i went to our local meet once, about a year or so ago. Not a single Triumph in the car park and so didn't have a clue how many people attended, execpt for one chap wearing a Club Triumph jumper. Had a few people look at our cars and walk away with a look of disgust.............never went again !!!! http://www.triumphowners.com/28 http://photobucket.com/steadyg2002 |
