I found this in my shed during a clean out at the weekend.  I remember buying it years ago for my Herald but never used it.  I thought it was for a GT6 Mk1 but someone has suggested it may be for a 2.5PI as it has a larger boss.  Anyone know if this is correct?

It definitely looks like the boss is too big for a GT6, which I was going to say on your other thread but had no alternative suggestions at the time. Never having owned a Mk1 (either PI or GT6!) I couldn't say for sure but that boss looks about right from my hazy memory of a Mk1 2000 estate my brother owned back in the early '90s

Thanks Rob, its a 3/4 inch hole for steering column if that is any help.

That sounds larger than a GT6 one (though I haven't got the figure to hand, nor a spare wheel to check) but smaller than the 2500 WSM suggests. Hmm....
