Club Triumph

Guys, we really need to collect the money for this event.  CT has had to stump up and we won't have any money for anything else that needs to be paid for in advance.  As an incentive to put your entry in as quickly as possible CT is offering a draw, to be held on the day, containing:

2 tickets each for 2013 Goodwood Festival of Speed and the Revival Meeting

All you have to do is be a CT member and get your entry for the CT Goodwood Trackday 2012 to me before Saturday 15th September.

I regret to say that the incentive has not had the desired effect and that as we approach the time The Club has to pay Goodwood and entries have only just covered the deposit so far. CT will have to make a strenuous effort to cover the final invoice from Goodwood.

The incentive will be extended and revised.  All who have booked so far, whether CT members or not will be eligable for a first draw.  The winner will chose whether they want to go to the Revival or the Festivel of Speed.  We are opening the entry to MGoT, who have a strong reserve list for their own TD at Goodwood.  Anyone booking between 16th September and 1st October will be eligable for a second draw for the unclaimed event.  Should few new entries be made between now and 1st October, we reserve the right to revise the rules to make it fair for those who have booked already.

Hiring a circuit for a track day puts Club Triumph at serious financial risk in a way that no other event we organise does.  If we are not able to cover the final invoice when it is due in October, CT will have to review whether it can continue to take such a risk in future.

Thanks Chris - cheque and entry form are in the post to you - only had a 2nd class stamp, so it may take a day or so to reach you depending on how much of a good mood the royal mail are in.

I'll spread the word and see who else I can persuade out the wood work!
