Hi, my second acclaim has leak from the water pipe seating, I believe the o-ring is gone, and I suspect it was gone earlier, before I bought the car but it was fixed with some silicone on it, and this eventually wore off. I need to know if it is possible to remove the water pipe mounting bolt (i believe its 10) without removing the exhaust manifold with only front manifold shield taken off, and wether I should use an offset spanner or swivel head ratcheted ring spanner.
I cant get there with regular socket ratchet or straight combination spanner.
And I cannot find anything about water pipe replacement procedure in Haynes manual.

Is it the pipe that comes from the back of the water pump housing? If so, THIS YouTube video might be of help.

Where is the Guru when you need him?

I've seen it already.
But what I'd like to do is to take off the pipe without taking of the exhaust manifold, if its possible.
