I'm having a re-think and alas I need to liquidate some of my bits and bobs... Partly due to a big solicitors bill and an ongoing neighbor dispute..
Plus I always wanted to get back into Rallying, however I have now shelved that idea so I'm planning to dispose of my 1147cc rally/race head (its 6 port before you ask!) however it is 11.5 CR (IIRC) and is flowed and ported and has a matched 4 branch manifold (and a set of hollow push rods and 3 pistons, I destroyed the engine as I did not down the thrust.. 9000rpm was not a good idea! It was modified by Newmarket Engineering (Jimmy Cuthill).
I also have a John Kipping Close ratio Overdrive gearbox (single rail). It has a large output flange and is fine spline to take a race/rally Midget clutch. This gearbox and overdrive were fully re-built and only did 94mies. I only ever used it on the Milltown stages. I don't have a gear stick for it. Bish got that when he bought my Herald IIRC?
So the question is do these have any value?
Am I better to offer this here OR to a wider audience on Ebay? (its £1 listing day)
