Hi can the door quarter light frame be removed  without removing the wind up/down window first, the car is a 67" 1200 saloon . Dave.

I don't think so, but it's not hard to get the glass out of these cars, particularly if the door is still bolted on to the car.

Just beware of the brackets etc on the lower quarter light frame that may need removing, and the tension wire thing that I think connects the bottom of the two runners.

The hard bit of the whole job is getting the spring clips off the regulator to allow the glass to slide free.
