I have acquired a Vitesse 1600 Engine to drop into the Herald at some point (hopefully before next years RBRR). It didnt come with some bits, one of which is the water pump.

I have checked Canley Classics web site and it lists a part which doesnt seem to appear on other engines. In short what Water pump can i use on a Vitesse 1600 engine

You need a standard GWP201 pump. I think the part number you refer to is for a component of the pump which isnt now available separately....

Pretty sure the "offset" is wrong, so the fan belt won't run correctly. Otherwise it is about the same.
The pump you need is any vitesse/gt6/tr6 type.

In that case...

The 6-cylinder housing is different from the 4-cylinder but is common to all sixes, I think. Certainly the very early Vitesse 2L housing is the same as the last GT6 Mk3

Current fleet
1967 Vitesse 2L conv "Tessa"
1970 Spitfire Mk3 (project) "Toby"
1972 GT6 Mk3
Not enough time or space
Recently sold:
1972 2.5 PI estate "Harry" (gone to russell on here)
1973 Toledo 2-door "Spike" (gone to a club official)
Used to have:
1968 Vitesse 2L saloon
1980 Dolomite 1500
1977 Dolomite 1850
1980 Dolomite Sprint
1982 TR7 DHC Sprint
1975 2500S saloon
1971 Herald 13/60 Estate (with 1500 Spit engine)
1975 Stag
