Triumph 2000 MK1 1968, being recommissioned after being in storage since 1973.

Assuming Herald Mk2 or any Vitesse, then yes.
They weren't fitted to the Herald 948 or 1200 Mk1 chassis, ie those built up to June 1962,

I thought as much but was not sure. I am recommissioning a MK2 Vitesse that has had the side rails replaced.

Looks like someone replaced side rail, cut off rotten end of out rigger and left off the Stiffening plate between the two. Nothing like taking your car to a "professional" to get things done properly.

Looks like more fabrication and welding today, after replacing the out rigger with the body on.   still have the other side to do along with rotoflex coupling, oh joy
