so having dropped a valve at high revs in the FIA 1099cc  formula junior engine(based on the 1147cc) with the result of a fairly comprehensibly chewed up engine it looks to be back to the drawing board.

anyway I could do with your help, I cannot access the Junior or the dead engine but could do with knowing the deck height of the 1147 engine i.e. center-line of crank to top of block or/and  the con rod length big end to little end center-lines

Crank and rods are the same as small crank 1300 (GE / FD) if it helps as will the dimension on the block you are asking about.

How accurately do you need to know?  I have a GE engine in pieces.....

for accuracy to the nearest mm if possible, deck height is the one I really need and could do with little end length, not so worried about con rod length just thought someone might know it.
