Just noticed this 12/50 coupe for sale, just out of interest these only come out in Australia right? AMI 12/50 coupe?, never seen one before and not many coupes come up for sale over here, let alone a 12/50. Guessing it must be a really rare car, wonder how many are left.

Yes, the 12/50 coupe with Vitesse bonnet was an Australia only offering. Quite nice and must be very rare now.

That's rather lovely, I'm always drawn to the unusual,

Cheers,

Beautiful, looks in nice condition! You don't see many Vitesse/Heralds on the roads in Australia (at least in Sydney), so imagine this is very rare indeed.

By chance is this the original looking carpet? Vinyl piping/edging?

I take it that the last picture isn't the same car?

If it was made by man, it can be dismantled and rebuilt by man. Usually just not as easily.

No. For some inexplicable reason the vendor felt it necessary to include a photo of a Vitesse Mk2 convertible "to show what it would look like if you removed the roof".

Yeah, Bill, that's exactly how I feel. If only....

*Man: Well, no ... It's not so much of a jet, it's more your, er, Triumph Herald engine with wings.

Might be, as I recall some Australian versions used locally sourced trim in the assembly.
