2 Litre 'box works well enough on a 1600 but you'll need to replace the front prop shaft flange for the round type to match up to the output flange on the 2 Litre 'box.

4syn os a straight fit  but if you want a 2 ltr diaphragm clutch you must get the 2 ltr throwout carrier and the 1600 fly wheel needs re drilling for the new dowel positions which are different to the coil cover of the 1600

if  you go for overdrive the  prop coupling  still needs to be compatible

canleys techy data has good clues on what couplings are what .

Never use a coil disc in a diaphragm cover or the opposite as  they are diffent thicknesses
