Hi all, I'm refitting the tubular bonnet hinge on my 13/60 and from what I can gather there are pieces of rubber between the tubing and the bonnet ? although there are none shown in the Canley diagrams ! are there any pieces of rubber between the tubes where they are attached to the wheel arches?

Funnily enough I am doing the same to my Vitesse 6 and will now wonder the same thing, though I do have a vague recollection of some in there.
Today I had to make the tubular spacers for the pivot and find, sand blast and paint the tubular hinge mounting brackets.
Making progress at last, must be at least 10 years since I last worked on the car.
Got to find the bonnet springs, adjuster rods and bonnet holder opener now.
Its not as bad as it sounds as all my Vitesse stuff is on shelves behind the car or in my other Vitesse at my parents house.
Memory is not as good as it should be but my excuse is I did take it apart back in 1983.
Sorry to hijack you thread.
