Someones offering a four row conversion for Vitesse rads on Ebay and I would like to know if they offer any improvement.....

I think mine is a 4 row.  Still gets warm if you work it hard on a hot day but I think that may have more to do with insufficient airflow through it.  It coped with Nice on a Friday afternoon...... the crew nearly melted though.

did you get it recored and was there much of a change over the standard 3 row?

It was an improvement but the old core was shot to bits.  

The extra core does bring a benefit but not as much as might be expected due to restricting airflow through the core.

yes I did wonder about more air resistance and another possibility for half the price would be an ally escort mk1/2 rad. Theyre 3 row but across seem to fit 40 tubes instead of the 30 in the vit rad. It would need some fettling but looking at the measurements should go.........
