For those that questioned what it was registered as, on the V5 it's a Triumph Moss Roadster, body type is sports car

I think it could do with some different wheels, its currently on steel weller 8 spoke.  They aren't bad but not quite the right style for it, any ideas that'll not break the bank.

Stuart the cheapest option would be rather than change them why not paint them black?
I reckon that would make a huge difference!

Nifty!  I understand that these are made of available parts from different cars?  Is the grille from an older Jaguar model?

Or 50s sporst cars (or older even) often had steel wheels with a chrome hub cap - surely a Triumpg Spitfire type wheel would do the job?

Its now in the garage, had a go at starting it bit of a fuel leak but nothing major. Not sure why it has electric fuel pump and a mechanical one, unless the mechanical one has had the guts taken out.

More investigation required along with some repairs/upgrades to the wiring.

"Not sure why it has electric fuel pump and a mechanical one"

If the electric is in parallel to the mechanical and if it is of the type, like SU, that switches off when pressure is up,  it could be to save priming after standing for a while.
Pressure comes up and bowls fill when ignition switched on and the electric disabled when the mechanical takes over.
