Glad to hear you're getting somewhere ... albeit slowly. But all good things come to those who wait!

Okay, so I was in the UK last week, and saw the car.  I have pictures.  Should I upload them here, or put them on one of the online photo sites and post the link?

It's up at Canleys and I've seen it - often - needs work but the potential is there for a really nice car

Such a brilliant thread. When i started reading it i had to go out to the car park and check the reg of the old herald thats laid up there, Which i may or may not have just put a note on asking if it was for sale.

Hmm.  For some reason, I'm not getting email notifications of additions to this thread, and I don't remember to check very frequently.

As a teaser, here's another period photo of the car that I found while tidying my study yesterday (well, what else is there to do when you've called in sick?).

I'll dig out and post the best of the "current state" photos, that I took earlier this month at Canley Classics.  That'll have to wait until I get home from work, though, or I'll get fired for being a slacker.

Thanks for all your messages of support.  Much appreciated.  I'm a happy chap, that's for sure.
