Introduction Latest NewsClub Triumph Track Day Guide Entry Form Checklist Goodwood 2011 Guide Circuits

Goodwood - 25th November 2013

With the help of Lloyd McNeil and his staff we have been able to book Goodwood Circuit for and All Triumph track day on Monday 25th November.  There will be 3 sessions each of 20 mins for 10 cars.  We expect each car to have approximately one and a half hours of track time during the day assuming no stoppages (To be confirmed).  Depending on who enters the sessions will be divided into experience or model or mates groupings.

The noise limit for the day is 98Db.  Goodwood enforce the noise limit most strictly.  If you can test your car beforehand I would recommend it and if you can get your noise level to 95Db.

Goodwood is probably so well known that it does not need any introduction.  Made from a wartime airfield in West Sussex, Goodwood hosted Britain's very first post-war motor race meeting at a permanent venue September 1948.  It went from strength to strength, becomming one of Britain's most well known circuits, holding many important national and international events such as the Tourist Trophy. In August 1966 Goodwood closed its gates to contemporary motor racing, although the circuit has remained in continuous use as a testing and track day venue. It is now famous for The Goodwood Revival Meeting, the world's most popular historic motor race meeting.

The whole circuit exudes atmosphere.  It is a very fast circuit that rewards nerve and precision.  The Chicane is probably the most famous corner on the circuit but the challenging Madgwick and the double apex Levant are the most important for lap time.  The track has recently been resurfaced and is very smooth.

There are only 30 places.  To book send a cheque for the appropriate amount, detailing your requirements for additional drivers, passengers and helmets (L, M, S) and stating your car model, address and email address to:
